Choosing the perfect-fit childcare centre for little ones is a long-term decision for most parents, with the majority of children staying at the centre right up until they start school. It’s an emotional decision and sometimes a little nerve-racking for first time parents. It was important they we capture the genuine care and approachable nature of the team at Ferguson Street Kindergarten & Early Learning centre.
Ferguson Street approached Fox & Lee wanting a wow factor website that was easy to maintain, but more importantly, they wanted a site that represented who they are with an emotional vibe within the design and layout. They wanted to capture the warm cosy and homely feel you get when walking into the centre in person.
After reviewing their previous website and doing an audit, our User Experience Designer and SEO team formed a structure that would increase their Google ranking, be easy to use and gain more clicks and leads to the new site. From a business perspective, more clicks and leads was the end-goal and what the business required the website to do.
Once visitors arrived at the new site, it was up to our designer to maintain a beautiful look and feel that provided parents and caregivers with the information they needed to feel comfortable to book in a tour and talk to the team about enrolment.
Equally as important, it was paramount that we created a website that was user friendly for busy parents to find vital information easily and quickly. Information included the age range of children, the care provided to the children, the type of education children received, the inclusive nature of the care provided, childcare subsidy information, along with important food nutrition and allergy information.
